Hey stephen. Explain to me how the manga for this series works. Do you just read all the questions, then the answers, or do the answers correspond with the question chapters, and you read them in pairs?

No no no... the manga sucks compared to the anime... like don't even read the manga it is nothing, like it can't even touch the anime. If you like this though I recommend Elfen Lied (the manga good for this one but the anime is also not too bad, lots of violence and gore, more so then Higurashi, but Higurashi is more psychological... both are good in their own ways).

Psychological horror is much better compared to gore horror (such as saw) in my opinion. But if the gore and the psychological horror are put together, it can be a masterpiece. For example, I just read the Onikakushi Higurashi and Rena freaked the fuck out of me. She was standing right behind him when he was discussing her insantiy. Just waiting. Right behind him.

Now that I've watched some of the Anime, I must agree it is better. The music is downright creepy.

Well put it this way, manga that's made from anime and VN usually suck, I can compare it to Iron Man the movie vs iron man the game kind of thing... scary.

Also how fast the characters change the mood is done very well, from one scene of innocence and the next right after scares the shit outta you.
